How to work a pencil skirt! #psworkwear challenge

I am a late one to the skirt party I have to admit, spending the last few decades completely confused about what you actually wore with them. Like as a top. Oh yes, seems simple to me now (mostly) but I used to try to wear a black skirt with a white shirt and then wonder why people keep asking me to bring them drinks...

Go a bit wild in the workplace ;)

I have since learnt that skirts don't just have to be black, or boring, or worn with a white shirt. I love this look because it's got a bit of character to it, but is dressy enough for the office or most work places. Because I am a cheapskate, I like it more because the skirt cost £10 from Primark last year!
